According to the soccer transfer rumors of the previous few weeks, a star of FC Barcelona Lionel Messi was going to join Manchester City. However, appealing to the interview given by the Barcelona’s vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu the rumors will stay rumors because there was not made any bid for Messi during the last weeks.

To remind you the situation – few weeks ago in Spanish mass media appeared suggestive reports claiming Manchester City is going to get Argentina’s ultimate player Messi to the home MC’s Etihad Stadium at cost of €50 million in addition to another popular striker – Mario Balotelli. This rumor became breakout news at once among all Barca’s fans. However, after the official disclaimer from J.M. Bartomeu it became obvious Lionel Messi won’t leave Barcelona.

The causes of this rumor can be explained by the fact Manchester City has already offered profitable deals for three Argentinian teammates of Messi – Aguero, Tevez, Zabaleta – which made this club an ultimate winner in the great summer transfer battle.

During next few years Messi won’t probably leave for England for sure according to the official reports. His contract with Barcelona soccer club that was signed in September, 2009 will continue up to 2015-2016 season. Being one of the highest paid world’s players he is paid an annual salary of €9.5 million.

Appealing to the official announcement made by talkSPORT, Arsenal and Sunderland soccer clubs will fight for the right to make an offer to the Hannover’s star Mohammed Abdellaoue. Because of the very successful year as a striker this Norwegian 25-year-old player became an object of interest of many European clubs wanting him to become one of the world’s best soccer players after becoming a particular team’s member.

According to some unofficial sources, the Hannover 96 club will be left in next January by Abdellaoue who is already searching for the best offer from the most reputable European clubs. Being a Hannover’s player after his transfer from Valerenga last year he managed to score 10 goals during his first season in German Bundesliga.

His spectacular performances attracted attention of the Gunners who intend to fight for the right to become a new home for this talented player.

Due to Stig Lillejord’s interview (Abdellaoue’s agent) his client is going to consider all pros and cons of each offer during the next transfer window that will open in next January.

Arsenal is considered as the major challenger in this battle for the Norwegian striker. The English club may raise its funds to pay for Abdellaoue’s transfer after selling Arshavin who is long-time targeted by Anzhi Makhachkala.
